The Eco Start Program was created to help our production print customers build their sustainability portfolios and have a positive impact on developing communities and the environment. When a new production system is purchased, we engage the Trees for the Future organization to plant trees to help counterbalance that machine’s average expected CO2 emissions during its first year in operation.
The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) Awards Program was created to recognize excellence in graduate healthcare management education within CAHME accredited programs. LEED Gold certified and built with environmental sustainability as the prime focus, the Melville, NY site, which is also headquarters for Canon Solutions America, was voted “Best Office Building” on Long Island by readers of the Long Island Business News.
For 22 years, the Canon Clean Earth Crew has volunteered to help beautify public spaces. At their latest activity, more than 160 Canon Americas Headquarters employees, along with their families and friends, painted, planted, and weeded at Lake Ronkonkoma County Park in NY.

The strategic alliance with Arizona State University gave Canon Solutions America the opportunity to present sustainable solutions and best practices for higher education to PAC-12 universities at the EH&S Director’s Conference, hosted by ASU.
The UV curable inks for the Arizona family of flatbed printers, and the game-changing UVgel ink for the recently launched Colorado 1640 printer, have achieved UL GREENGUARD GOLD certification. GREENGUARD Certification has established performance-based standards to define products and processes with low chemical emissions for use indoors.
