The LabelStream LS2000* is a prime solution for label converters seeking a dependable, practical, and flexible digital press. Engineered for shorter runs of diverse, self-adhesive labels, this powerful solution leverages advanced water-based inkjet technology to help deliver outstanding results.
Designed with Quality in Mind
Printing at speeds of up to 40 m/min with a maximum printing width of 340 mm, the five-color (CMYK plus white) LabelStream LS2000 inkjet label press is a model of productivity. Featuring a Canon-developed 2400 x 1200 dpi printhead, the solution uses an ink circulation mechanism that helps to minimize nozzle failure due to clogging. The press includes automated quality control features, such as nozzle checks, sensors, color measurement, and adjustment, ensuring reliable and stable production. Its digital front end offers seamless workflow integration for advanced ease of use and operational productivity.
Unmatched Flexibility
Equipped with high-density, water-based polymer inks developed specifically for its printhead, the LabelStream LS2000 produces a wide color gamut with highly saturated pigments. These specialized inks form a thin layer on the substrate, reducing light scattering and enhancing color reproduction. The standard white ink capability allows for printing on transparent film and other media, providing a white base that can be used as an undercoat for vivid and clear color printing. These inks are suitable for a variety of applications, offering remarkable flexibility.
Versatility in Label Production
The LabelStream LS2000 supports label printing on a range of everyday applications—from personal care to household products—and substrates, from coated to synthetic paper and film, including low-heat-resistant film. This versatility opens up possibilities for producing small batches of labels with fast delivery times, meeting the needs of products with shorter lifecycles. The thin ink layer maintains the original appearance and composition of printed substrates, including textured media.
